It's been a very hectic last few weeks to say the least. And this month is just as crazy, with work and life, so please excuse us if you don't hear from us for a while. I haven't even had time to check anyone's blog so I am out of the loop right now! We promise we'll catch up with ya'll in a bit!
On a happy note...here are some Little b updates:
Little b has officially inherited his daddy's human GPS skills and is our little rain man of directions. He can tell you how to get to certain places using streets and now, freeways. It's quite entertaining.
He loves:
-planets - especially Earth (don't ask me why because I have no clue)
-ice cream cones (and by that I mean without ice cream - seriously - it's sad)
-reading letters and numbers - he can read the entire alphabet and count to 20 in English and almost all in Spanish.
-looking at and memorizing logos (yes i know that is weird)
-reading books, magazines and pamphlets
-vacuuming
-anything Thomas the Train - darn that company's marketing dept.
-wearing his hats and "fwip fwaps" outside
-getting his hair styled
-time-outs (um, yeah we have no clue why)
-his naps (for the time being - this might change soon)!
He does not like:
which in only two things -
1. eating (playing often outweighs eating)
2. being away from his daddy
Funny Little b moments:
* While reading books with dad one night...
He was reading one of his favorite Jesus books and he comes across a picture of Jesus being baptized by John the Baptist (now picture this your mind). When all of a sudden, Brian sees him slap the picture with his hands and says, "High Five!" LOL And then he did it again with the Christus statue. Coming from a kid's point of view - I guess you can't really blame him, eh?

Spring is in the Air!
We had a great week which included three egg hunts, two birthday celebrations for Bri and one very busy little b.
Even though he's starting to get the egg hunting concept down, he just wasn't into this year.
At our community egg hunt, he managed to win the big Easter basket prize. Luckily, it included bubbles because most of the eggs were filled with candy - which surprisingly, he didn't care for. 
On Easter Sunday, little b woke up and having discussed Easter all week exclaims, "Eeeaster Jesus!" The weather was perfect that day so he ventured outside for a bit and for some odd reason, he decided that he wanted to pose for some pictures. What a ham :)
HAPPY "B" DAY!!!
Guess who is another year older today?!
In celebration of Bri's birthday, here are some random facts you may or may not have known about him:
1) He has a memory like an elephant. Example: One Sunday, looking out into the congregation he says, "Hey, (insert any name here) wore that three weeks ago." He can remember exactly what certain people wore, what they did and what they said. Trust me on the last one.
2) He is a Quiksilver (mostly but other surf brands as well) addict. Let's just say that if it's not a NAME BRAND, surf brand he ain't wearnin' it. Trust me. I should take a photo of his closet. And now he's passing it on to little b.
3) He's one of the girls. He's one of the guys. By that, I mean he can hang out in any situation, big or small, female or male, and can hold a conversation with the best of 'em. After all, he is married to the master of conversation ;)
4) He never gets angry, cranky or complains. Tried. Tested. And TRUE! Likewise, he's always in a good mood...or a sleepy one.
5) He talks a lot in his sleep. I've learned more about his profession from his nighttime babbles than I want to know.
6) He is a great shopping buddy. (See # 4)
7) He notices EVERYTHING. Many times he'll comment on a friend's new haircut or highlights while I'll have no clue. (See #1)
8) He's not a fanatic of watching sports on T.V. Hooray! Though we like tv basketball games and going to the games and watching the championships of various sports on tv - he's not one to plop himself down on the couch and watch an entire game on any given day. He'd rather be PLAYING sports.
9) He was meant to be in his profession. After seeing what he had to go through to get to this point, and what he deals with on a day-to-day basis, you know he was born to do this. (See #4)
10) He loves to eat. But if you already know him, this isn't news to you. I've heard on numerous occasions people call him their garbage disposal. HE CAN EAT. He loves any and all foods and by far is the least pickiest eater I know. It works in my favor because anything I cook, he likes. But it also means that he is not a good judge of food...meaning, if you ask him if he liked something...you'll get the same answer no matter if it was great or gross. (See #4)
11) He does NOT like his picture taken or posted on the blog for that matter - so I'm sure he'll really love this post.
12) He has a twin brother and they are nothing alike. Isn't that always the case?! And with that said - Happy Birthday M!

And one more of what I found him doing the other day...wearing his daddy's cap (a new one, of course) and pretending to take his vitamins. He loves to copy his dad!

CATCHING UP...
Little b loves his letters and finally learned the alphabet about a month and a half ago. And of course, his favorite letter is...
This past week he had a play date with his buddies (who are twins). Here they are eating dino-shaped sandwiches for lunch. Yum!
Everyday we leave the house, he loves to say hello to (and sometimes feed) the ducks that live in the pond just outside our garage. They've gotten to know little b and when they see him, they come waddling along in hopes of some food.
A glimmer of hope...
Could this be the end of Winter weather?
Since it's been "warm" here, we've been going to the park everyday. A couple of weeks ago, Brian decided he wanted to check out his elementary school and let little b play on the playground. Sadly, he discovered that the original building had been torn down and replaced with a new one, along with a new playground.
Bri was saying how he never thought in a million years he'd be at his elementary school with his own son.
Little b had a great time.
In the past couple of weeks he discovered his love of sliding.
I was trying to take some photos of him sliding down, and well, he picked up so much speed that a second after I clicked, he came flying off the slide :)
Like mother, like...son? I'm sure he'll love this photo when he is a teenager. What's even more funny is that he's so meticulous in his application.

What happens when you start flavoring kid's medicines with sweet, fruity flavors? You get a toddler begging for "more medi-seen peas!" Oh boy.
And whadda we have here? We found some yummy watermelon! And a very happy boy! Here we come Summer :)
This past week we went to one of the children's museums with some of little b's friends. And even though I wanted to Lysol the entire place, we all had a lot of fun.
And thanks to my friend, Adrienne for these photos (because I'm always forgetting my camera). We were at the twins' house, which little b loves because they have a awesome playroom that opens up to the outside, which means the kids can go in and out as they please. Well, we happened to forget about them for a second, and when we went to check on them, this is what we found:
